Disney World Outfit Inspiration for the Whole Family
If you’re planning a trip and need Disney World outfit inspiration, you’ve come to the right place. Matching family T-shirts or coordinating outfits are super fun and make for great photos! Here is what my family wore to all 4 Disney World theme parks. I’ve also included links to where you can purchase some of the shirts and accessories and a few other ideas to inspire you to plan your perfect Disney outfits.
Magic Kingdom
My 5 year old daughter’s all time favorite Disney princess is Cinderella. Dressing her in a Cinderella inspired outfit for her first trip to Disney World was a must! She does have a beautiful dress-up Cinderella ball gown that she wore for Halloween one year, but I thought it would be too hot and bulky for her to wear all day at the park.
This cute light blue dress has total Cinderella vibes without being a full length gown. I paired the dress with these blue Minnie ears featuring a tiny silver crown. The ears were a 2 pack which was perfect so I could match her! I wanted our whole family to coordinate outfits so I made shirts for the rest of my family playing off the Cinderella/princess theme. Mine said Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo. My husband’s said “My favorite princess calls me Daddy” and my 3 year son wore a princess security t-shirt.
Animal Kingdom
My family LOVES Lion King so Lion King themed shirts were the obvious choice for us to wear to Animal Kingdom.
I made all of our Animal Kingdom shirts with my Cricut machine. The simple play on words on my husband’s shirt (I wish this line would Mufasa) got some laughs from other guests at the park. My son wore a shirt that said future king with an picture of Simba. My daughter and I wore matching Hakuna Matata tanks featuring Simba, Timone and Pumba and leopard print Minnie ears!
Other great ideas for what to wear to Animal Kingdom:
- Minnie and Mickey safari themed shirts
- Leopard print shirts, dresses or leggings
- Avatar themed shirts
Hollywood Studios
My son is obsessed with Toy Story so that was clearly the theme we went with for Hollywood Studios!
I love how well the Buzz hat worked with the Buzz shirt! The Zurg shirt saying Buzz, I am your father was almost too perfect for my husband to coordinate with my son! (Not to mention Star Wars reference). I wore a basic Pizza Planet shirt and my daughter wore a distressed Toy Story shirt. In my opinion the distressing was too much and took away from some of the character detail. Hers is the only shirt I would not recommend. The rest of them can be purchased on Amazon.
Star Wars themed outfits would be another great choice for Hollywood Studios.
Epcot
A popular option for coordinating family shirts is to do Minnie and Mickey shirts. Mickey and Minnie shirts work great for any park and since we didn’t have specific shirts for Epcot, these worked perfectly for us.
These shirts were designed using Cricut Design Space. The Woody and Cinderella designs were purchased and uploaded from a shop on Etsy. I did a basic Mickey head with a unique design on each and added bows to mine and my daughter’s. Also, I added Walt Disney World 2022.
The boys wore black shorts. I wore red biking shorts and my daughter wore a red skirt with white polka dots. We completed the outfits with classic Minnie and Mickey ears!

- Drinking around the world/Snacking around the world
- Here for the beer/Here for the snacks
- Frozen themed shirts
- Ratatouille themed shirts
